Iain & I had our individual interviews at the agency on Monday. It was a breeze. Iain was in there for 20 minutes and I was in there for a little longer. (Hmm....wonder why?) I asked TM (adoption worker) if our profiles would even get looked at by a birth mom, since they are so wordy. She assured me that our thorough answers would be a comfort to potential birth parents. She said that it usually takes six months to a year for couples to complete what we already have in two months. She let a new coworker read our profile and the coworker said, "I already love them." TM's response was, "Me too, I wish I was young enough for them to adopt me." Funny. And encouraging.

Here's a taste. (Start from the oldest posts in the right hand column if you want the WHOLE story. It's labeled 'Our story from the beginning...'
